This awareness campaign project challenges the ideology that anxiety is a hidden illness. It is often portrayed this way and is difficult to understand unless a person has suffered from anxiety. Whilst the feelings of anxiety manifest internally which validates this ideology, however, the symptoms can induce behavioural and appearance changes in a sufferer. This project highlights and identifies some of these as they are often interpreted in a stereotypical way as personal choices rather than a symptom of anxiety. This campaign is challenging those stereotypical views and raising awareness to some of the changes that may be experienced by a sufferer even before they are often associated with the condition. By raising awareness and identifying these it provides a challenging concept which we can all consider in ourselves and those around us.
Anxiety often masquerades as something else…. know the signs and be aware…
